JOB
How the jobs sector works
For several years now many groups of Europeans have developed the habit of going to London to spend a few weeks or months in the city to improve their grasp of English. LANGUAGE SCHOOL
Programmes 
We have a wide range of programmes as well as a highly flexible time-table and in most cases you can start the day after you arrive. The official exams run by the University of Cambridge (KET, PET, FIRST, ADVANCED, PROFICIENCY) are prepared.
Methods
There are various methods (all conversation, grammar and conversation, work-based etc) and different levels. You can choose among these when you arrive depending on your preferences and the options open to you.
Classes
There are no more than 8/10 students per class and the timetables are very flexible and can easily be adapted to your work hours or other activities. All the teachers are qualified native speakers with a lot of teaching experience. The language academy has schools in several parts of London close to your lodgings so as to avoid a lot of travelling. - If you leave your accommodation, you will not lose your right to job offers as this is a service provided by the Job Centre.
- Reservation within 24 hours
- Freedom in lodgings. Everyone has their own keys, there are no time restrictions on coming in and there are no contractual and bureaucratic obligations (you only have to let it be known if you are staying on and confirm this every week).
- You do not have to stay over particular dates. Those concerned can come and go as and when they please.
- Free assistance for any problem in the lodgings (plumbing, electricity etc.)
- Rent is payable weekly until you decide to leave.
No arrivals are accepted without bookings and confirmation of Assistance Service included in the programmes.

- Accommodation can be booked for a few days before work service begins if you wish to find your feet and get into the swing of London in a more relaxed manner, or, if you prefer, you can begin work service on the same date as you have reserved the accommodation for.
- Should you reach London outside office hours or on a bank holiday, we kindly ask you to provide details of your flight (time of arrival, day, name of airline company, arrival airport) sufficiently in advance by fax or telephone. You will be asked to meet in an area in central London and taken from there to your lodgings free of charge.
- If you feel you need to change the date of your arrival (for whatever reason), you will not be penalised in any way and a place will be kept open for you on the new date you tell us.
Summer
Booking from 25 June to 6 August each year: Over these dates there is a surge in bookings due to school and university terms ending. Book your flight early due to the air travel congestion, above all if you are flying to London. Those booking at the last minute can be given accommodation for a few days in a hotel in central London while they wait for a room to become available. In the high season the arrival en masse of young European people means that some have to wait for a week or more before finding work.
Should your booking be rejected for serious reasons, this will be refunded within two weeks at the latest.

How much money?
Besides what you have to pay on arrival (see documentation), something extra is always needed because, like everywhere else, in England wages for work are paid in arrears. In London the first wage packet is normally paid after two weeks of work. This all means that one should think of initial expenses, transport, the odd meal, the third week of rent (the first two are included in the sum paid on arrival).
